Helen finished wrapping, lucy at work for most of the day, matthew forecasting that he’ll be upset if his PS4 isn’t under the tree and Claire rising at 2pm daily.
Me? My contribution to anything christmas-related is very minimal at best – I do transport everyone around though.

Blew a gale last night but much calmer now but so mild – still around 10 celcius.

Better to have spring to look forward to than the onset of winter – the long warm days and sultry nights of 2013 seem a long way off now!
Dark at 4pm doesn’t quite have the same allure does it?

Surely not a whole year since Christmas 2012??

Summary of the year so far…busy, emotional, eventful, quick, expensive…

Lucy and Matt continued with their successful school exams, Claire had a superb first year at university and myself and Helen carried on with the mundane slog of work-eat-sleep and are hoping to hold on for the next 8 years before retirement and the start of phase 3 of life.

Liverpool top of the premiership though, so happy news there!
